The organiser of the Bologna Licensing Trade Fair is confident of another good show this month, revealing the number of exhibitors and brands represented have both increased over 2011.

The show is due to take place from March 19th to 21st alongside the Bologna Children's Book Fair.

There will be around 60 exhibitors - including the likes of RaiTrade, Mediaset, Publitalia, Turner Broadcasting, Warner Bros, Mattel, Hasbro, CPLG and Planeta Junior among others - and over 400 brands represented.

The Licensing Industry Survey 2012 - the first quantative survey of the economic value of the licensing business in Italy - will also be presented throughout the fair.

A range of workshops and conferences will also run and will look at a variety of issues from fashion to art and museums, prospects for the Russian market and cooperation with the distribution and advertising networks.

"Our fair is growing all the time," said Marco Momoli, exhibition director. "We wanted to create an exhibition setting and an events context that would offer real appeal to professional visitors from both Italy and abroad, in order to help them become familiar with aspects of licensing not yet fully explored, but which offer interesting new business development potential.

"In addition, the profile of brands exhibiting will certainly be appealing for international professionals."
