New York-based design studio, Brian Yanish Designs to continuing to grow the licensing programme for its character brand The Scrap Kins, using Licensing International as a platform to unveil new content and artwork.
The brand launched in 2006 and focuses on a family of creatures that live in a recycling centre and build a world out of the things that people throw away. It is aimed at three to eight year-olds and aims to foster eco-awareness and encourage children to use their imagination.
In Las Vegas in June, the firm will showcase the expanded series of recycled arts and crafts, educational content and artwork, including the new Baby Scrap Kins collection.
The Scrap Kins will also feature fashion tees as part of the planned Fashion Runway.
"Capitalising on our product foundation in recycled paper stationery, calendars and puzzles, we've developed new artwork and story content for expansion into publishing and animation," said Brian Yanish.
"We're at an exciting stage in our development where consumers are embracing our green message and kids are engaged by the hands-on approach to being creative."
