Liverpool, Stranger Things and Peaky Blinders make Danilo’s Top Ten Calendars 2019 chart

Not content with leading the Premier League into the Christmas break,  Liverpool FC has taken point on the Danilo calendar best-seller chart this year for the first time.

The official licensed calendar reached number one in the sports calendar chart last year, and has finally made the leap across to the main chart with some gusto.

The first of four brand new entries made it to second spot with TV series Stranger Things, the most watched Netflix series ever, beating the other new TV entry, Peaky Blinders, which scraped in at number nine.

Other new entries are Frozen II, on the back of the launch of the sequel Christmas movie, and popular Korean boy band, BTS. Cliff Richard has made the chart for more than 30 years, showing that he’s still as popular today as he was in 1990.

The Harry Potter calendar remained in the Top 10, although dropped from number one to seven.  But the popularity of Friends sees the official licensed calendar jump from number 10 to number four in this years’ chart, amid rumours of the flatmates’ return.

The full top 10 (with last year’s position in brackets) are:

  • Liverpool Football Club (1 in sports chart 2018)
  • Stranger Things (New entry)
  • BTS (New entry)
  • Friends (10)
  • Frozen 2 (New entry)
  • Manchester United Football Club (2 in sports chart 2018)
  • Harry Potter (1)
  • Cliff Richard (6)
  • Peaky Blinders (New entry)
  • Little Mix (5)
