LMI has been named as the worldwide licensing agents for the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, to promote the legacy of the Bard through licensing programmes across homeware, textiles, gifts, jewellery and more.
LMI will represent the educational, heritage brand in all territories with the exception of The People’s Republic of China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and South Korea.
The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust is an independent charity that cares for Shakespeare heritage in his home town of Stratford-upon-Avon. It is recognised as the global centre for learning about and experiencing the works, life, and times of the world’s most famous writer.
Through the five historic Shakespeare family homes, internationally designated museum collections and award-winning learning programmes, the Trust provides imaginative, immersive and interactive opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds. In 2017, people from 86 countries made more than 872,000 visits to the Shakespeare family homes and gardens.
Licensing with the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust already with a wealth of collections that encourages fans to ‘discover Shakespeare’s world through unique objects and works of art, rare books and the words that have inspired the world for over 400 years.’
