Nickelodeon is consolidating its presence in Central Eastern Europe via two new localised channels in Serbia and Slovenia.
The local language versions of Nickelodeon follow in the footsteps of the success the network has enjoyed with its dedicated channel in Croatia. This launched in December 2011 and is the number one children’s channel in the market.
The new Serbian and Slovenian channels support Viacom International Media Networks’ wider ambition to deepen its cross-brand presence in the CEE market, following the recent launches of Comedy Central Extra in Adria, Romania and Hungary in summer 2012 and early 2013.
