Lucasfilm releases first trailer for Strange Magic

Lucasfilm has released the first trailer for the studio’s upcoming animated film, Strange Magic.

The brainchild of George Lucas, the film is inspired by Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and revolves around two worlds: a kingdom of fairies and a forest of goblins.

Directed by Gary Rydstrom, the animated musical features stars the voices of Alan Cumming, Evan Rachel Wood, Kristin Chenoweth and Maya Rudolph and includes adaptations of hits from the last several decades, including Elvis’s Can’t Help Falling in Love.

The film will hit screens across the US from January 23rd.
