We do this by identifying brand extension opportunities, and subsequently finding and securing specialist manufacturers under a license agreement. We then manage the licensees to help them launch the products to market. These brand extensions help our clients enhance their brand awareness, increase consumer touchpoints, and generate new revenue streams. About You
We are seeking a highly organised, proactive self-starter with experience in the DIY/Hardware/Automotive segment that has an entrepreneurial spirit, strong work ethic with sales, brand/product management or retail buying experience to work in our Hard Goods team. The candidate should have strong commercial experience ideally in a retail or client facing role, with a passion for brands.


The Role
You will be working within a fast-paced environment, as part of the Brand Management team, with responsibility for managing licensees (manufacturers) and generating new business for a global brand portfolio. This varied role will involve travel from time to time within Europe with duties and responsibilities including:

  • Sales, Licensee and Client Management
  • Researching product categories, developing and pitching prospects, negotiating commercial terms and finalising legal contracts
  • Leading the development of all business plans as well as supporting clients’ strategic licensing plans
  • Responsible for annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting
  • Working closely with licensees to expand product and territory opportunities and develop retail opportunities


What You Need

  • A minimum of three years’ experience in either the brand licensing industry, brand/product development or retail buying ideally working in DIY/Hardware categories
  • Proven sales experience: prospecting, pitching and contract negotiation
  • Adept at handling financial data
  • Fluency in English; multi-language skills desirable
  • A University degree is advantageous
