Marvel kickstarts Thor: Ragnarok Superpower of STEM challenge

To help mark the upcoming release of Marvel Studios’ Thor: Ragnarok, the studio has developed a nationwide Thor: Ragnarok Superpower of STEM challenge.

The program aims to inspire young girls to use the superpower of STEM to help their family or community be safer, healthier and happier.

Taking place nationwide, girls aged from of 15 to 18 are invited to use their STEM superpower, with five finalists to be selected to travel to LA and present their projects to a panel of experts.

In partnership with Marvel, Synchrony Bank will also offer the finalists the chance to work with the Synchrony Technology Team.

Lastly, one grand prize winner will be chosen to attend a three-day mentorship in New York City with Disney Imagineering to build the winner’s STEM story.

Entries are currently being accepted now until September 23rd.
