Masha and the Bear grows international reach with new global broadcast partners

The popular children’s animated series, Masha and the Bear is continuing to grow its international reach, having secured a new broadcast slot with Cartoon Network Turkey, as well as a successful launch of its fourth series on Netflix and other platforms around the world.

In partnership with Warner Media, Masha and the Bear will now begin airing on Cartoon Network Turkey from this October.

Masha is a Russian girl who lives in the forest with her goat and dog. One morning, Masha sees a butterfly and inadvertently follows it inside the home of a bear who has gone fishing. The Bear tries to get rid of Masha, but he is unsuccessful, and he and Masha become friends.

The series has become an international hit in recent months and years. Last week, Animaccord detailed new global deals for Masha and the Bear season four, a special season named ‘Masha’s Songs.’ The series has been confirmed for launch on Netflix and other outlets around the world.

“Masha’s Songs” is a colourful musical story dedicated to the various countries and their main cultural values and attractions, within which Masha sings the most popular song of the particular country in her unique creative and childish manner.

The season features the adventures of Masha and her forest pals in in Italy, France, Germany, UK, USA, Brazil, Japan and other countries.
