Mattel’s Max Steel makes DVD debut with Max Steel – Origins

Mattel’s multi-platform, action adventure series, Max Steel is expanding its offering for fans, with the release of its debut DVD title, Max Steel – Origins.

Including the first three episodes of series one combined to create a feature length movie, Max Steel – Origins follows the story of how 16 year old Maxwell ‘Max’ McGrath becomes his alter-ego.

Mattel’s popular boys’ franchise is already driven by an extensive marketing campaign, a TV series, toy range and a web destination.

The first of the Max Steel DVD releases also comes complete with bonus features, including an extra two episodes and a live action three-minute feature directed by The Mummy’s Stephen Sommers.

Max Steel, co-produced by FremantleMedia Kids and Family Entertainment, currently airs on Nickelodeon’s Nicktoons, on weekend mornings.

The toy range currently features the max Steel Team Up Figures, Turbo Sword with Steel Combo, the Spinning Turbo Fighting Figures and the Battle Arena.
