Following the success of the inaugural event in May 2009, the second Light Fund Golf Day is now being planned.
This year's event raised some £1,700 for the industry charity - and the committee is confident of further success next year.
The event is being planned for Friday May 21st 2010, organised by an expanded committee including Andrew Levy from Licensingpages, Anthony Temple and Alicia Davenport from DRi Licensing, Simon Gresswell from IMG and Rob Corney from Bulldog Licensing. It will again take place at Royal Mid-Surrey Golf Club.
A number of new events will be introduced, including beginner lessons for non-players.
The morning will be taken up with coffee and bacon baguettes before an 18 hole Stableford competition. This will be followed by drinks in the Pam Barton Room and a carvery lunch in the Dining Room and a Prize Giving Auction.
Sponsors at the 2009 event included BBC Worldwide, Chapman Entertainment, Allsorts Licensing, Cartoon Network and Start Licensing.
Companies which came along to the 2009 event included 4T2 Multimedia, Aardman, Aceville, Allsorts Licensing, Blues Clothing, Bulldog Licensing, Cartoon Network, Chapman Entertainment, Character Group, Creative Catalogues, Diageo, DRi Licensing, Hit, Imagine8, IMG, Kilogrammedia, KJG, Licensingpages, Magic Box, NBA, Pink Key, Rainbow Designs, Rainbow Productions, Start Licensing and TDP.
