Brand Licensing Europe 2009 is now on track to be eight per cent bigger than last year, with organiser Advanstar stating that it is already the largest show in its 11-year history having exceeded 2008's meterage.
With five weeks still remaining, the event is on target to host 200 exhibitors and 2,000 properties, as well as welcome in excess of 4,000 visitors from across Europe.
The most recent companies to pledge their support include Andersen Press, Brandzoo, DCD Publishing, Dimensional Entertainment, IMPS, Stark Industries (Marvel), Taipei Computer Association, I Love DIY, Tingatinga Arts Cooperative Society, Mediatoon Licensing and Bear League.
"We're thrilled that Brand Licensing Europe 2009 is already the biggest in its 11-year history with five weeks still to go," Jessica Blue, event director, told Licensing.biz. "This is testament to the ever increasing strength of the European licensing industry and the strength of licensing as a proposition to retailers, particularly during difficult trading environments when product differentiation is even more important.
"We invest year on year to ensure we are offering the right trading solution to the industry."
