Last week's Brand Licensing Europe was the best attended and biggest in the trade show's 14-year history, Advanstar has confirmed.
Over the three days, 6,875 executives walked through the doors of Olympia - 1,265 more than in 2011.
Combined visitor and exhibitor attendance reached 9,108. The audit will be confirmed by the AEO in the next few weeks.
This year also saw a 14 per cent increase in retail attendance, with execs from outlets including Avon, Boots, Asda, Carrefour, Debenhams, Tesco, John Lewis, New Look, Top Shop, Sainsbury's and Marks & Spencer to name a few.
The number of overseas visitors increased, with 17 per cent more European visitors in attendance.
"We are thrilled with the results of this year's show, and have worked hard to ensure the event reflects the needs of our visitors and exhibitors," said Jessica Blue, event director for BLE. "We have really focused on increasing attendance from retail and from across Europe.
"The feedback from exhibitors and visitors has indicated that we have achieved this and we look forward to making the event even bigger and better in 2013."
Some 74 per cent of floor space has already been sold for the 2013 event, which is due to take place at London Olympia between October 15th and 17th.
