Trade body LIMA is now accepting submissions for speakers and presentations for the Licensing University conference programme to be held at Licensing International 2009 in Las Vegas.
The conference sessions will kick off on Sunday May 31st 2009 with a programme specifically designed for international attendees (although of interest to all licensing professionals) and run through until Wednesday June 3rd.
Through hands-on workshops, breakfast roundtables, panels and small discussion groups, the sessions will explore key industry topics and trends, as well as provide networking opportunities for newcomers and experienced licensing executives.
In all, LIMA expects to present more than 40 sessions at Licensing University 2009.
Topics of particular interest include: case studies on new product and property introductions/brand extensions; retail strategies in the US and abroad; international licensing trends; mobile and wireless content; food branding and licensing; consumer spending trends; corporate branding; music and celebrity licensing; sports licensing and video gaming.
General conference topics include: licensing the law; growth in global markets; marketing, strategy and promotion; retail partnerships; demographic and retail trends; product sourcing and new market opportunities.
