Even animated characters have been bitten by the Facebook bug it seems, with Chapman revealing that pages have been set up on the social networking site for Fifi and the Flowertots and Roary the Racing Car.
The Facebook groups have been designed for fans of the pre-school shows to view videos and pictures, as well as interact with each other via wall posts and voice their thoughts on the shows.
Users can also upload pictures of their own.
In addition, the pages will feature Fifi and Roary product releases, promotions, character appearances and events, with links through to partner sites including Five's Milkshake and Nick Jr.
"Facebook provides regular access to our fans and is a great tool for communicating with them," said Chloe Grant, project and design manager at Chapman. "Through these groups, we can provide parents with regular updates about what's going on with both brands - we are very excited about this initiative."
