A special chronicle of 75 years of The Dandy, The Art and History of The Dandy, has launched.

DC Thomson has published the book, which features a host of iconic kids' comic characters, including Desperate Dan, Korky the Cat, Beryl the Peril, Keyhole Kate and more.

It's priced at £20 and features archive history and artwork from The Dandy.

DC Thomson has also launched a set of A5 lenticular Dennis the Menace and Desperate Dan notebooks, priced at £6.99 each.

The inside note pages feature illustrations of both iconic comic characters.

Head of Brand, Tim Collins, said: "The Art and History of The Dandy is a celebration of one of the most remarkable and outstanding titles in the history of British comics and is a must-have for fans.

"The innovative and eye-catching ways the Beano and Dandy character artwork can be used, as such with the lenticular notebooks, are perfect examples how these much-loved characters enable further opportunities to extend the brand in creative and interesting formats."
