DC Thomson Consumer Products has unveiled the latest additions to its partnership with British gift company, Wild & Wolf.

Following the success of the licensee’s previous The Beano gifting and stationery range, Wild & Wolf has recently launched two new lines featuring original artwork from the classic comic.

Targeting gift buyers and male adults, Wild & Wolf’s new the Menace Revolution collection is inspired by Dennis the Menace’s rebellious character and includes a flask, playing card set, A5 notebook and enamel mug.

The Beano Classic collection includes a travel coffee mug, wallet, mug, fridge magnets, coasters and washbag.

The new ranges are now available in the UK online and in leading independent and gifting retail channels.

“We’re delighted to be extending our partnership with Wild & Wolf and bringing these new collections to loyal fans across the country,” commented Allison Watkins, head of brands at DC Thomson.

“They have very effectively utilised the extensive artwork we have available for The Beano and developed a fresh take on the classic imagery. As a result of its long-standing heritage and high levels of consumer affection, The Beano has a strong foothold in the gifting market that we’re committed to strengthening even further.”

Mathew Thomas, creative director at Wild & Wolf: “With mischief, mayhem, jokes and pranks, The Beano is a glorious celebration of childhood whose characters have it all. Both the Menace Revolution and The Beano Classic collections have been designed to capture this riotous spirit of the comic that was so appealing to young readers.

"Sales of the range have already got off to a strong start, and now as we head into the key Christmas season, we’re confident these lines will be a popular gift choice for menaces of all ages across the UK.”
