Egmont Publishing UK announces three new promotions

Sarah Bates, Ingrid Gilmore, and Siobhan Galvin have joined Egmont’s Board.

Egmont Publishing UK is promoting three commercial roles to the UK board. Sarah Bates, commercial director of books, Ingrid Gilmore, sales, marketing and PR director for books and Siobhan Galvin, commercial director for magazines have all been appointed to the board.

Anna Buss is promoted to the new role of finance director on the UK Board following the resignation of Alan Hurcombe. Cally Poplak, MD, will take direct responsibility for all business operations. 

"I’d like to thank Alan for insight, support and hard work these past four years and wish him well in his new role," said Cally Poplak.

"I am absolutely delighted to welcome four very talented colleagues to the UK Board. Their publishing expertise and operational management at divisional level is outstanding and I look forward making the most of their experience to help shape a strong and exciting future for Egmont UK."
