Egmont ties with McColls and Morrisons

Exclusive promotions lined up for Toxic and Go Girl in newsagent and supermarket.

Leading children's publisher Egmont is teaming up with newsagent McColls and Morrisons supermarket for exclusive promotions with its Toxic and Go Girl titles.

Toxic will be releasing a special Halloween issue, while Go Girl will be launching its first Sleepover Day on Saturday October 24th and promoting the event in two special issues of the magazine.

To back these issues, McColls and Morrisons will be offering exclusive competition prizes to readers of the magazines in-store.

Toxic's 'Design a Monster' competition is asking boys to design their scariest monster, with the winning design featured in a Team Toxic comic strip. There will also be a chance to win a Nintendo Wii, Mario & Sonic games, plus Toxic goodie bags.

The Go Girl promotion, meanwhile, will be asking girls to send in a sleepover t-shirt design. The winner will have her design made up. Nintendo DS handhelds and goodie bags will also be up for grabs.
