Online gaming firm Endemol Games UK is gearing up for the launch of the first ever motion control social game.

Total Wipeout: Big Ball Run, based on the hit TV show, will launch in the UK later this month on Facebook. It will also be available as a downloadable application on totalwipeout.co.uk.

The game is a virtual obstacle course which mirrors the TV show. Players have to navigate the course using their bodies as the controller.

While initially launching in the UK, Endemol is looking to roll out the game internationally.

"This is a truly groundbreaking product and it's hugely exciting that this is one of the first games of this type to launch on Facebook," said Jurian van der Meer, MD of Endemol Games. "Total Wipeout easily lends itself to branded gaming applications and we think viewers of the TV show will love motion sensor technology."
