Entertainment brands flock to Licensing Expo

More than 2,800 of world's top properties to be represented on the show floor this year.

The countdown to this year's Licensing Expo is heating up, with over 2,800 entertainment-based brands being confirmed to appear on the show floor.

Properties and companies including Hello Kitty, Peanuts, One Direction, Domo, Warner Bros. Consumer Products, Nickelodeon, Angry Birds, DreamWorks, Thomas the Tank Engine, WWE, 20th Century Fox and more, will all have key space at the Las Vegas event in June.

Music acts like Bon Jovi, Elton John, KISS and Madonna will all be represented, alongside celebrity names such as Elvis, Salma Hayek, John Wayne and Michael Jackson.

"Character and entertainment licences are a cornerstone of the industry and will be highlighted on the newly re-merchandised show floor, along with brands and agents, art and design and fashion," said Jessica Blue, VP of Licensing Expo.

Gaming and TV properties will also feature heavily, including Call of Duty, Doodle Jumo, Skylanders, Top Gear, Downton Abbey and The Big Bang Theory.

More than 2,200 art, consumer goods and fashion properties will also be at the show.

Licensing Expo runs from June 18th to 20th at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Las Vegas.
