GIRLS MONTH: Mr Men 40th anniversary kicks off with launch of Little Miss Princess

Two new books from Egmont UK due in March and April, just ahead of Royal Wedding.

Chorion has introduced its own regal Little Miss Princess as part of the 40th anniversary celebrations for the Mr Men brand.

The character will star in two new books, the first of which - simpled called Little Miss Princess - launches today (March 7th). Little Miss Princess and the Very Special Wedding colouring and sticker book will follow on April 4th.

Little Miss Princess is the first new Little Miss since 2003 and the 34th book in the Mr Men series.

To date, over 100 million Mr Men and Little Miss books have been sold worldwide, with over three million sold every year.

"Commissioned in spring last year, we are delighted to be publishing this new Little Miss character in such a significant year," said David Riley, MD of Egmont Publishing Group. "We look forward to celebrating both the Mr Men's 40th anniversary and the Royal Wedding with our two Little Miss Princess titles. She is an endearing addition to the classic collection who will charm readers of all ages."
