Immediate Media has further strengthened its licensed portfolio, launching a Mr Men and Little Miss Magazine today (Wednesday, October 2nd).

With help from the popular characters, the title will focus on communication, language and literacy, reinforcing learning from the whole Early Years Curriculum in a fun and interesting way.

It boasts a clear, uncomplicated style, with bespoke stickers, new stories and artwork. Each issue will carry two exclusive collectable toys of the characters. The launch issue comes with Mr Bump and Little Miss Sunshine, plus a poster of all 85 characters and special stickers to add.

The magazine is priced at £3.50 and has a variable frequency. The launch will be supported by a consumer marketing campaign, while Immediate will also be producing bespoke branded POS packs for the top 5,000 independent stores and will be supported in major retail multiples.

"There is such enthusiasm for Mr Men and Little Miss from children and also their parents who have fond memories of growing up with their fun and colourful world," said Stephanie Cooper, editor of Mr Men and Little Miss Magazine. "The magazine embraces each of the characters' personalities so families can learn about their favourites, discover new ones together and laugh along the way."
