There's still time to get involved in the latest industry money raiser for the Light Fund, but there are only four places remaining so you'll need to be quick if you fancy being part of the Bobsleigh Race Experience Challenge.
You should know the deal by now, but just in case, the challenge takes place from March 2nd to March 4th 2010 at the Olympic bobsleigh track situated near Innsbruck.
The team will be hosted by the British Olympic bobsleigh squad. It will be a 'taxi bob' experience - everything will be the same as a full Olympic run, with the exception being there will be a sitting rather than a running start. The Light Fund participants will travel in positions two and three only, with a professional pilot and brakeman.
All equipment - including full body protective lycra style suits, grip shoes, gloves and crash helmets - will be provided.
Fancy seeing any of these boys dressed up in lycra (and there are some goodies, believe me) - David Scott and Simon Foulkes (Rainbow Productions), Ian Hyder (Licensing Source Book), Martin Lowe and Richard Radford (Roy Lowe & Sons), Andy Downie (Zap), Ian Down (Hamlins), Nick Austin (Vivid Imaginations), Simon Harris (Lunartics), Keith Pashley (The Keith Pashley Project) and Graham Saltmarsh (Cartoon Network - or these girls, Helena Mansell (Mattel), Janet Woodward (Coolabi), Zoe Upcraft (Chorion), Jane Kennedy (RDF Rights), Joanna Cassidy (Guide to the Licensing World) and Licensing.biz editor, Samantha Loveday?
Well, here's what you need to do. Contact Stephen Gould on 07766 403222 or by clicking here. Cost is £495 plus flights and bobsleigh insurance. Each participant also needs to raise a minimum of £200 for the Light Fund.
