The Licensing Source Book has today announced the launch of The Licensing Awards 2009 and the final category line-up, with the prestigious event welcoming a new headline sponsor, Brand Licensing Europe.
Now in their fourth year, the Licensing Awards will again be officially supported by trade body LIMA, while The Light Fund will be the charity beneficiary. This year's awards will be held on Thursday September 10th at the Royal Lancaster Hotel.
The gongs are split into a number of categories - Retailer, Product, Property and Special awards.
"It's great to have Brand Licensing Europe on board this year as headline sponsor as they share our vision to ensure the Licensing Awards celebrate and champion the innovation and success in the licensing industry," said Ian Hyder, publishing director of The Licensing Source Book. "And our plans are already underway to make the 2009 Awards evening one to remember."
Jessica Blue, event director of Brand Licensing Europe, added: "We are proud to be supporting the Licensing Awards as headline sponsor. Both BLE and the Licensing Awards are committed to recognising best practice and excellence in licensing and we look forward to celebrating the achievements of our exhibitors, visitors and event partners in September."
Tickets are now on sale for the event, while select sponsorship opportunities are also still available. Entry and voting forms are available to download online and all retailers, licensees, licensors and suppliers are invited to submit their nominations and votes before the closing date of June 1st.
