m4e AG is set to strengthen its partnership with YouTube by digitalising more content from the Munich-based media firm.
Having worked together for several years, over 5,000 videos from the m4e library have generated more than 500 million views on YouTube, which the two companies are planning to strengthen.
The partnership will see the two digitalise more content in order to preserve older kids’ programmes such as The Beginners Bible, as well as to increase revenues with m4e content.
m4e now expects further revenue potential, especially in the AVOD (ad-based video on demand) space, the advertising-financed business model within YouTube’s streaming services.
With the extended partnership, m4e will not only promote and exploit its complete programme portfolio, but also preserve it in digital form.
