The Natural Bag Company has added more Broons and Oor Wullie designs to its range of jute bags.

Broons and Oor Wullie are comic strips from Beano publisher DC Thomson, which are published in weekly Scottish newspaper The Sunday Post.

All bags from The Natural Bag Company - including shopping, lunch, gift and bottle varieties - are ethically manufactured using quality hessian. Each bag comes with a woven branded logo sewn into the seam.

The Natural Bag Company MD said: "As one of the last remaining jute companies based in Dundee we are very proud to be able to produce the range of The Broons and Oor Wullie jute bags, thus preserving the link between jute and journalism in the city.

"Throughout the entire process, DC Thomson has been very supportive and the finished products have definitely been worth the effort.

"Initial sales have been excellent and we look forward to developing the range further over the next few years."
