New deputy editor for

Billy Langsworthy will also work for sister publication ToyNews.

The editorial team has been boosted with the appointment of Billy Langsworthy as deputy editor.

He has completed stints at ToyNews sister publication and video games weekly MCV since 2009, while studying at university. He went full-time as staff writer in June last year.

Langsworthy will make his toy trade debut at the British Toy & Hobby Association Industry Day on Wednesday, June 26th.

He takes over from Dominic Sacco – who is taking up another role within's publisher Intent Media.

Langsworthy will join the existing team of Samantha Loveday (editor), Lisa Carter (managing editor), Rob Hutchins (staff writer) and Jodie Holdway (sales manager) permanently from Monday, July 1st.

ToyNews' managing editor Lisa Carter commented: "I am delighted to welcome Billy to the ToyNews and team. He brings with him solid experience in trade journalism from his time on MCV and will be a fantastic addition to the team.”
