This year's Northern Light Fund Quiz Night raised more than £11,500 for the industry charity, with over 200 execs making the trip up to Salford Quays.
The winning team was the imaginatively titled Obi-Wan Kenobi Nil, made up of directors and staff from Imagine8 and Bon Bon Buddies, who scored 92 points from a possible 108.
They were closely followed by Purple Haze (Hallmark and Coolabi) with 86 points, and Superman's lost his knickers (Rubie's and Warner) with 84 points.
At the other end of the table, Number 1 in its time slot (Blueprint, Paragon, Danilo, Spearmark and Blues) came in last with 59 points and were awarded the big pants booby prize.
23 teams took part in the quiz night, including representatives from Entertainment One, Aykroyds, Zap, Kinnerton, Character World, Fashion Lab and Cooneen.
"In the current economic climate, the turnout was fantastic and the organising committee would like to thank everybody who made the journey to Salford," said question master, Rob Hughes. "A big thank you also to all of our sponsors: Warner Bros, Nickelodeon, Turner, Mattel, Bulldog, Entertainment One, Activision, Kilogrammedia, Christy's, Coolabi, Start Licensing, V&S Entertainment, Rainbow Productions and Fluid World.
"A special thank you also goes out to Mark Watson from Hasbro who arranged for every team to have a Nerf blaster and foam darts on their table. I was personally 'shots' at least a dozen times."
