One of the most popular parts of the LIMA Licensing Essentials Course, this year's panel debate is taking shape, with a number of execs signed up.

This year, the panel will consist of Danny Schweiger from Character World, Graham Saltmarsh from Turner CN Enterprises, John McInnerny of Allsorts Licensing, Mike Redfern from Blueprint Designs and Josephine Collins from License Global.

Issues up for debate will be the credit crunch and how it is affecting business, whether the changing exchange rates mean European-based licensees are moving into the UK with price advantages and how much is counterfeiting costing the industry.

The debate will follow the Licensing Essentials Course, which takes place on May 12th. The Spring Fling will be held in the Sway Bar, Holburn.
