The 11th annual Kidscreen Summit drew a crowd of almost 1,500 kids industry executives, a 15 per cent increase on 2009.
The event also attreated 63 per cent of its delegates from outside of the US. Larger groups from Malaysia, Korea and Brazil were in attendance, while visitors from the UK were up 28 per cent and France up 17 per cent.
"We are always thrilled to welcome delegates from countries that have not been represented at the Summit before because it's a great testament to the event's global influence," said Jocelyn Christie, Kidscreen's publisher. "This year, we hosted companies from Pakistan, Qatar, Colombia and Puerto Rico for the first time."
