With one of Advanstar's main aims being to ensure Brand Licensing Europe continues to meet the needs of its growing retail visitor base, the firm has revealed plans for a special 'advice point' for retailers attending this year's event.
The Retail Buyers Centre will look to give complementary and impartial assistance from a seven-strong stable of licensing experts.
The panel will endeavour to guide them around the world of licensing, as well as the thousands of properties, products, exhibitors and opportunities available to them.
The panel is: Keith Pashley, The Keith Pashley Project; Karen Addison, Karen Addison Associates; Fiona Macleod, Fred and Ginger; Chris Muggleton, Licensing Advice.com; Richard Pink, Pink Key Consulting; Gill Thomas, Consulting GT; and Melanie Wood, director of training, Advanstar Communications.
"I'm delighted to be involved in this project," said Pashley. "By offering this service we are showing the worldwide retail community that we are serious about addressing their individual licensing needs.
"Each consultant has been handpicked for their extensive, wide-ranging experience and, most importantly, their ability to offer impartial, practical advice."
In addition to the advice sessions, the Retail Buyers Centre will house a meeting space and a cloakroom for the exclusive use of retailers attending the event.
Jessica Blue, event director of BLE, added: "The Retail Buyers Centre is the perfect starting point for retailers to navigate their way around the 2,000 properties on show."
Retailers are recommended to make an appointment in advance by emailing Keith Pashley.
