The 2010 Kidscreen Summit will be introducing a new initiative to let producers showcase their programming.

The Kidscreen Connect Screening Suite will be open for two full days leading into the Summit, offering buyers an exclusive space at the New York Hilton where they can check out content in private screening pods.

The screening platform will also be available online from January 4th 2010 until September 2010.

For a low introductory subscription fee, producers and distributors can upload finished episodes, as well as detailed corporate and individual profile pages. An instant reporting app also lets users see exactly who has viewed their shows. There will also be a development showcase area.

More than 40 leading kids broadcast execs will be helping Kidscreen to develop and beta test the product.

"The buyers we're working with are really excited about the functionality we have planned for this platform, and their feedback has already helped us enormously," said Kidscreen publisher, Jocelyn Christie.

The Kidscreen Connect Screening Suite is still in development, although a preview website is available by clicking here.
