The line-up for Advanstar's second show for the Central and Eastern European marketplace continues to grow, with ELC joining the likes of Plus Licens and Kidz Entertainment.

The event takes place on March 7th and 8th at The Corinthia Grand Hotel, Budapest and, as well as the three already mentioned, currently also boasts FremantleMedia Enterprises, Jast Company, Maat Entertainment and Maui & Sons (with the latter three being first time exhibitors).

As well as the exhibition hall, the show will also feature a free to attend seminar programme, which this year will focus on issues such as how to work with the major entertainment properties, trends, retail facts and figures, legal and commercial considerations.

ELC operates a network of six offices (Athens, Bucharest, Budapest, Istanbul, Moscow and Warsaw) and represents brands including Scooby-Doo, Lord of the Rings, Iron Man and Manchester United among others.

"The addition of ELC and three newcomers to the showfloor further proves that this event is fast becoming the meeting place for brand licensing professionals in this region," said Jon Gibson, event director. "Visitor registration is also positive, with current indications pointing to increasing representation from local and international retailers and manufacturers looking to connect with the region's most popular brand owners."

This year, Advanstar has employed an Hungarian speaking telemarketing agency to speak to local visitors and offer retailers participation in its Hosted Buyer Scheme. It is also planning to introduce a licensee partnership scheme which will encourage leading local licensees to bring their colleagues.
