Kidscreen is aiming to attract an even wider range of delegates and speakers to next year's summit, following the record breaking attendance of the 2008 event.
The conference will once again be held at the Hilton New York, running from February 11th to 13th.
This year's event attracted more than 1,500 kids entertainment professionals, with delegates coming from 43 countries, making the event the most globally representative one yet. Bigger groups than before came from France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and the Middle East.
There was also a significant increase in the number of delegates from Asia-Pacific (particularly from South Korea, Taiwan and China), as well as from South America, with a stronger Brazilian contingent and with Barbados represented for the first time.
"We are delighted by the positive feedback we've received from attendees this year, and we're excited to embark on the early planning stages of our tenth annual summit," said Jocelyn Christie, director of events at Kidscreen.
