MGA Entertainment names new GM of sales and licensing

MGA Entertainment has appointed a new general manager of international sales and licensing, welcoming its former executive Sandrine de Raspide back into the fold.

This is the latest move from MGA as it looks to bolster its international presence. De Raspide previously worked for MGA from 2002 to 2007 as its VP of sales and licensing, focusing primarily on the Bratz dolls line.

She had re-joined the company following her tenure as SVP at Level-5 abby Hong Kong.

Isaac Larian, MGA Entertainment’s CEO, said: “I have known Sandrine for many years and I am happy to have her back at MGAE. Her deep knowledge of the international markets combined with her passionate spirit to deliver quality programmes and initiatives will make for exciting international licensing programmes.”

De Raspide will now work to establish global licensing programmes around some of MGA’s biggest IP, with a focus on European, Australian, Middle East, Asia, and Latin American markets.

“It’s great to be back at MGAE,” said de Raspide. “Out future is flush with new partners as we grab a hold of the many opportunities before us, and I am thrilled to help lead this charge.”
