MGM appoints Tycoon Enterprises as licensing agent for Latin America

The global film and TV studio, MGM has tapped Tycoon Enterprises as it licensing agent for Latin America, as the firm looks to expand its operations across the region.

Under the new deal, Tycoon Enterprises will focus on brokering a variety of merchandising deals across the entire MGM portfolio, with a particular focus on the MGM brand, as well as the Rocky and Pink Panther franchises.

The appointment of Tycoon Enterprises by MGM marks the latest step taken by the studio to re-imagine and grow its extensive library of brands on a global scale.

The licensing agent will work to broker deals across all territories in Latin America outside of Mexico, including Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, Chili, Peru, Guatemala, and Panama.

Exim will continue to represent MGM in Mexico. Tycoon Enterprises will look to secure deals within traditional merchandise categories, including apparel and accessories, consumer electronics, back-to-school, collectables, domestics and housewares, food and beverage, footwear, gift and novelty, health and beauty, infant products, party goods and stationery, toys and games, as well as sporting goods.

MGM’s iconic library is home to some of the most popular and enduring properties of all time including Pink Panther, Rocky, James Bond and The Addams Familyamong many others.
