MGM has secured the rights for a big screen adaptation of Penguin’s young adult fiction book title Every Everything, despite the book not being published for another week.
The film studio has already tapped screenwriter J. Mills Goodloe, who penned adaptations for Age of Adeline and The Mountains Between Us to work on the script for the project.
Everything Everything is the debut novel from author Nicola Yoon and centres on a 17 year old girl who suffers from combined immune deficiency which leaves her housebound.
MGM has a successful track record of adapting young adult novels having teamed with New Line on the title If I Stay which went on to earn $78.3 million at the global Box Office.
Yoon’s debut title Everything Everything is due for release on September 3rd.
