Michael Myers to haunt shelves with new Halloween merchandise

“Everyone is entitled to one good scare,” and this year is no different as cult property licensing specialist Creative Licensing details a roster of partnerships for the 1978 classic Halloween.

In a season of scare, this October sees movie theatres around the world bring John Carpenter’s Halloween, Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers, and Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers back to the silver screen.

To celebrate the season, Creative Licensing has teamed with Compass International Pictures and Trancas International Films to sign a swathe of new deals with the purpose of provide horror fans with new ways to connect with the Halloween brand.

Among the partners recently signed to the iconic property, American Classics will deliver a line of apparel, while Creepy Co will launch a line of Halloween inspired enamel pins, key chains, pendants, art prints and apparel.

Meanwhile, Moebius Models has been signed for a line of collectable model kits, as Surreal Entertainment readies a raft of glassware, 3D desk accessories and fleece blankets.

Starbreeze Studios and Behaviour Digital have partnered to bring a Halloween themed in-game map and character add-on to its existing video game property dead by daylight.

These add-on features were released October 25th this year, 38 years from the theatrical release of the original John Carpenter’s Halloween.

Finally, a Halloween reel in Zynga’s free-to-play social slots game, Spin It Rich! Completes the line up.
