Firm expanding its portfolio with Moshling Rescue to become a company that creates games for the whole family.

Mind Candy launches first Moshi game aimed at parents

Mind Candy has launched its first game aimed at parents of young Moshi fans, called Moshling Rescue.

The free-to-play game aims to appeal to a new audience that enjoys ‘pick up and play’ games as Mind Candy expands its portfolio to become a company that creates games for the whole family.

Moshling Rescue features a variety of gameplay modes that see players match gummies to rescue Moshlings across hundreds of levels.

“Mind Candy has expanded from just kids entertainment to becoming a broader family entertainment company," said CEO and founder of Mind Candy, Michael Acton Smith.

"This is our first game aimed at an older audience and we’re incredibly excited about launching it.”

Players can also connect their mobile or tablet edition of Moshling Rescue with their Facebook account to receive an extra life across both platforms.

“Moshling Rescue is a fantastic game that makes great use of the Facebook platform, not only on Facebook canvas, but also on iOS,” said Bob Slinn, head of gaming at Facebook EMEA.

“It’s a great game, with huge potential and we’re very happy to see our partner Mind Candy bringing quality content on Facebook.”

Moshling Rescue is available now on Apple devices and Facebook.
