MIPCOM 2018: Zodiak Kids picks up Horrid Henry fifth season

Zodiak Kids has secured the international distribution rights to the fifth series of Horrid Henry, news has emerged from this year’s MIPCOM.

The new series of the popular children’s series is already in production and will be broadcast on Nicktoon next year. A total of 250 episodes are now available, making Horrid Henry one of the largest animated shows in the UK.

New sales for the brand also include MBC in the Middle East, Alati International in Russia and Atlantic Digital Networks in Canda. Renewals include Turner Broadcasting System in Asia, Mediacorp in Singapore, POP TV in Slovenia, E-Vision in the Middle East, Asiana in Korea and Netflix for France, US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

The Horrid Henry television series is based on characters created by the author Francesca Simon and has been produced by Novel since 2006.
