Digital distributor and content management company MoMedia has signed a slew of TVOD deals for the second season of Endemol Shine Group’s hit animated series Simon’s Cat. The animated comedy series will roll out across the major EST (electronic sell-through) stores in the run-up to Christmas.
The new Simon’s Cat package will initially be available on Apple’s iTunes Store in the US, Canada, Australia, the UK, France and Germany. After an exclusive two-week window on Apple iTunes, it will launch on Amazon, Google Play and several other transactional stores. The content consists of six collections of around 6 x 6 mins, including Valentine, Halloween and Christmas specials.

The antics of the hungry white cat will be given exclusive promotions from November 6 to 20 in all six iTunes TV stores in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, France and Germany.
The YouTube phenomenon first surfaced in 2008, and was later acquired by Endemol Shine UK in 2015. The franchise boasts over 12 million fans and a series of consumer products lines across gaming, publishing, apparel and giftware.
