Mondo TV signs new Canadian deal with SVOD platform Ameba

Mondo TV has signed a content partnership agreement with the Canada-based kids’ on-demand platform Ameba.

Under the terms of the deal, Mondo will bring a selection of kids’ animated and live-action programming to Ameba TV’s branded channels, including TiVo, Xbox 360, Roku, and Opera. 

LG Smart TVs, Cinemood Projectors, iOS, Android and Chromecast are also part of the new partnership deal.

The titles supplied by Mondo will include the series Cinderella, Playtime Buddies, Robin Hood and Turtle Hero.

Founded in 2007, Ameba is an independent, subscription-based streaming video service that delivers educational TV shows, cartoons, and music videos to children via the web, mobiles, tablets, smart TVs, gaming consoles, and connected smart devices. 

Ameba is currently available throughout the US and Canada and its content library contains more than 700 hours of educational and entertaining programming aimed at kids aged two to 10. 

It features content from award-winning producers, including titles like Mother Goose Club, Skinnamarink TV, The Sooty Show, Om Nom Stories, Wee Sing, Kit ‘n’ Kate and Everything’s Rosie.
