Monnalisa is launching a new children’s fashion line featuring Betty Boop and her younger self, Baby Boop, for spring/summer.
The range will include t-shirts, dress, jackets and swimwear and is currently available in La Rinascente, Harrods, Monnalisa shops in New York and Beverly Hills, plus several boutiques and online retailers in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
"We’ve had a long relationship with Monnalisa and they are renowned for their ability to capture the essence of a character and translate that to beautifully designed and wearable children’s apparel," said Cathleen Titus, VP, international licensing at King Features, which is the worldwide exclusive licensing agent for Betty Boop.
The target age range for the line covers infants up to 12 years. Product is distributed in over 20 markets and early reports indicate particularly strong sales in Italy, the UK and Russia.
