“This Monopoly Collection will be an iconic start for a new strategy; closer to our partners and closer to our fans.”

Monopoly moves into high-fashion with Olympia Le Tan handbag partnership

Hasbro and Parisian fashion brand, Olympia Le Tan have signed a new agreement to bring Monopoly-inspired handbags to fans across the globe.

Known for its iconic ‘book-clutch’ handbags, Olympia Le-Tan is taking Monopoly high-fashion with a collection inspired by the brand’s game elements and design.

The line is now available in stores and online at select retailers worldwide. It will also be shown at a launch event in Paris on July 3 at the OLT boutique.

“Olympia Le-Tan collections are known for their irreverent pop culture-inspired designes, and we are thrilled to work with OLT team to bring a fun and fashion-forward Monopoly handbag line to fashion lovers around the world,” said Nikki Gie, director of consumer products, brand licensing, Hasbro.

“OLT has been such a wonderful partner and we look forward to a long-lasting relationship together.”

Gregory Bernard, founder and CEO of Olympia Le-Tan, added: “OLT Team had the privilege to access the visual treasures of Hasbro and to discover the history of its games, and toys. Monopoly, My Little Pony, Twister or Simon to name a few, are an indisputable part of pop culture references.

“Hasbro consumer products teams have actively participated in curating their best images and visuals, making this experience a true artistic collaboration and a very special moment for OLT. Now exclusively focused on bags and accessories, Olympia Le Tan is proposing more collections and more models allowing the fans to pre-order and personalise the full catalogue.

“This Monopoly Collection will be an iconic start for a new strategy; closer to our partners and closer to our fans.”

The Monopoly Collection includes elements from the game such as luxe ‘blue’ properties such as rue de la Paix to the Go to Jail square card.
