Monty Bojangles secures Hachette Partworks deal

Monty Bojangles has secured its first licensing deal with Hachette Partworks.

Hachette will use Monty Bojangles’ products as ingredients and inspiration in its Best Loved Recipes Collection.

The first issue launched in December 2012 and sold 300,000 copies thanks to a full advertising campaign.

Monty Bojangles is listed in retailers such as Waitrose and Tesco.

Agency Start Licensing says it’s also keen to talk to licensees in product areas such as bakery, ice cream, drinking chocolate and desserts.

Best Loved Recipes Collection Publisher Helen Nally told "The concept is simple. Each book has 30 recipes or serving ideas based around a single popular brand. We have worked with Nutella, Cadbury, Tate & Lyle, Lindt, Britvic, Bonne Maman and many other fantastic brands.

"We’ve had a fantastic response from everyone we’ve worked with and we think this is due to the quality of the finished product and the amazing team of editors, designers, stylists, photographers and food experts who work so hard on every book to make it special."
