Moomin Characters donates €40,000 to aid refugee crisis

Moomin Characters has donated €40,000 to the Swedish Red Cross in its efforts to aid the ongoing refugee situation.

The donation follows last week’s fundraising campaign organised by the firm in partnership with Bulls Licensing and children’s museum Junibacken in Stockholm, Sweden.

Together, the trio had aimed to raise the sum of €40,000 to help aid the current refugee crises by matching the weekend ticket proceeds to Stockholm’s children’s museum.

Last weekend saw over 2000 Moomin fans join Moomin Character and Bulls Licensing at Junibacken.

“They helped us help and generously donated to the Red Cross representatives present at Junibacken,” said Gustav Melin, gobal licensing director at Bulls Licensing.

“It really touched our hearts.”
