Turner CN Enterprises and Premier Stage Productions are adding more dates to the Bananas in Pyjamas UK live stage show tour.
Following a successful debut in autumn 2013, the show Banana-riffic will run until June 2014.
The show sees families invited to join B1, B2, Amy, Lulu and Morgan in Cuddlestown Park where a party is cut short when the guest of honour goes missing, it’s up to the bananas to crack the case.
Banana-riffic will play in 68 towns and cities across the UK to a potential audience of more than 50,000 children and parents.
Rainbow Productions have produced the costumes for the show and toy licensee Golden Bear has signed a deal with Premier that will see Bananas in Pyjamas toys sold at tour venues.
“Premier are delighted to be working with Turner and Endemol on the Bananas tour; the brand has always proved popular with audiences in a live environment as the fun of the characters really comes into its own within a theatrical production," said Nick George, director at Premier Stage Productions.
"It’s a fast paced, musical based show that really appeals to the target audience. We have worked closely with the licensor to create a production that we hope will please the many Bananas fans around the UK”.
Annabel Rochfort, head of live events and themed attractions at Turner CN Enterprises added: “Nick and the team at Premier Stage Productions have shown a true understanding of the Bananas in Pyjamas brand.
"By focusing on the friendship, energy and musicality of the characters they have successfully bought the brand to life and have created an interactive platform that gives fans the opportunity to engage with their favourite characters.
"The show experience should positively impact television viewership figures and sales of products from our burgeoning licensing programme.”
