The popular parenting and pre-school brand, Mother & Baby has stepped up its licensing efforts with the launch of two new licensed ranges at Kind and Jugend in Cologne this week, as it makes preparations for Brand Licensing Europe this October.
Two new licensees – partnerships secured by Mother & Baby’s licensing agency, Golden Goose – will be showcasing their new lines at the international infant and baby show this year.
The number one pregnancy, baby and toddler brand, with 60 years of history in the market, has worked with licensees Cuddleco for a range of mattresses and bedroom fabrics, and Vital Baby for new feeding ranges, to develop products that harness the Mother & Baby heritage of insight and inspiration.
With the wide selection of cot mattresses and feeding pillows offering everything from a fully organic, untreated mattress, to memory foam there is a wide choice of options available, whilst in weaning the product range includes multiple drinking cups and feeding spoons.
“New mums know that the two most important factors when looking after a baby are feeding and sleeping so it’s probably no surprise that these are the two areas where our brand is launching its licensing programme,” said Oswin Grady, managing director.
According to the firm, retailers have already shown strong interest in listing the new lines, indicating that the Mother & Baby licensing programme is toddling towards new product categories.

Mother & Baby will be exhibiting on the Golden Goose stand at BLE this year with potential categories available for licensing including Home, Early Development, Apparel, Nutrition, Sleep, Safety and more.
