Millimages' popular children's character will feature on greetings cards across the world.

Mouk unites with UNICEF in global campaign

Millimages will be doing its bit for charity by putting its animated character Mouk on UNICEF greetings cards this year.

The European production and distribution company has collaborated with the children’s charity to produce a series of specially created cards.

The UNICEF greetings cards will be available in France, Germany, Austria, Korea, Portugal, Cyprus, Greece, Venezuela and Luxembourg from September this year.

Laurence Papon, Head of Licensing at Millimages, said: "It is a huge honour for us that UNICEF has chosen Mouk to feature on a line of its greetings cards.

"UNICEF is the world’s leading organisation focusing on children and child rights, so we are genuinely thrilled to be collaborating on this project."

62 11-minute episodes of the pre-school series, commissioned by France Televisions and Disney Channel UK, are already airing on ABC Australia, France 5, Disney channels in the UK, Scandinavia, Spain, Eastern Europe, Italy, Benelux, Japan, Korea and the Middle East.

The show is soon to air on KiKA Germany, ERT Estonia, RTV Slovenia and LTV Latvia.

Millimages holds all international TV and licensing and merchandising rights to the property.
